Brand Launch and Advertising Campaign

Tasked with relaunching a spy-themed, clandestine restaurant in a crowded Chicago market, GERTRUDE knew “ordinary” would not suffice. Leaning into the elusive and intriguing essence at the very core of the brand, GERTRUDE created the “Control is Watching” campaign, inviting the audience to surrender their reality and enter the world of Safehouse.
OUTCOME
Starting from the ground up, GERTRUDE developed a strong brand positioning before executing across print, outdoor, digital, social media, packaging design and collateral while opening the door for a new brand experience-- a new generation of diners enjoying James Bond-worthy delights in menus designed to resemble classified dossiers with real redacted text.
