About
Uncommon was founded nine years ago by Lucy Jameson, Natalie Graeme and Nils Leonard with the belief that there’s never been a more urgent need for change, both in our industry and in the world. People wouldn’t care if three quarters of brands disappeared right now. But, some brands can make a difference like never before. They do things differently, ultimately becoming brands that people in the real world are glad exist. These brands are valuable. They are few and far between. That’s why we call them uncommon brands. It’s also why we named our business Uncommon.
Our 350+ strong global brand studio, spanning London, New York and Stockholm is built to address the need for change. We partner with brands at a moment of change. Working with our clients, we help brands find a place in culture – not just a position in their category – driving disproportionate fame and profits. Our capabilities span the entire customer experience from strategy and creative to design, CX, CRM, experiential & production, with a particular focus on the intersection of design, branding, and communications.
Following our recent recognition as Ad Age’s 2026 Design & Branding Agency of the Year and Campaign’s Fastest Growing Agency, our momentum shows no signs of slowing down. At The One Show we brought home 14 Merits, 11 Bronze, 5 Silver, 7 Gold, and a prestigious Best of Discipline. But the ultimate testament to the strength of our design practice came at D&AD, securing 11 Wood, 3 Graphite, and an incredible 5 Yellow Pencils. Winning the industry’s highest accolade on this global scale proves that our design practice isn't just growing — it's the future of design and creativity.
Today, Uncommon connects into Havas’ unique Village model. 74 close-knit creative communities around the world with wide-ranging capabilities to support a brand’s every need. Unlike other agencies we are not part of an advertising conglomerate. We are part of entertainment company Vivendi, a family-owned company. This means we can tap into culture at scale with direct access to music labels, gaming companies, event organizers, TV networks and studios. Giving Uncommon unprecedented access to some of the most powerful talent and creator partnerships on today’s cultural landscape.
