The NASCAR Chicago Street Race has teamed up with independent full-service ad agency Two by Four to launch an integrated creative campaign for the 2025 NASCAR Chicago Street Race titled, "Street Home Chicago." The new campaign fuses the heart-pounding energy of stock car racing with the undeniable swagger and authenticity of Chicago, creating a full-sensory, multi-platform experience unlike anything the sport, or the city, has seen before. At the center of the campaign is a high-impact TV spot titled “Edge of Your Seat,” which brings viewers into the race through the eyes of a window washer scaling the iconic Hancock Building, marveling at the action below. If a view from 1,000 feet up can’t get your adrenaline pumping, nothing will. The campaign marks the continued momentum behind NASCAR in Chicago as it continues to expand the appeal of the NASCAR Chicago Street Race by grounding it in the unique identity of the Windy City. With clever headlines like “Split-Second City,” “No City is More Driven,” and “165 Magnificent Miles,” the creative work celebrates both the sport’s intensity and Chicago’s iconic landmarks, people, and culture. “We challenged Two by Four to help us make this race feel unmistakably Chicago, and they delivered,” said Julie Giese, President, NASCAR Chicago Street Race. “From concept to execution, the campaign captures the electricity of race weekend and the city that makes it unforgettable. Whether you’re a lifelong NASCAR fan or a first-time spectator, ‘Street Home Chicago’ welcomes you to something truly special.” Creative executions span video, OTT, CTV, broadcast, digital, print, OOH, social, and experiential. Media placements include a takeover of Chicago’s Ogilvy Station and Metra trains, high-traffic digital displays with immersive POV racing footage, and street-level panels that appear to shatter as racecars speed by. The campaign includes a collaboration with NASCAR Chicago’s mobile partners, launching the “Street Race Checkered Flag Challenge,” where fans can win cash prizes by correctly answering trivia questions and making predictions about race weekend. “It’s an honor working with an iconic brand like the NASCAR Chicago Street Race and helping them bring this one-of-a-kind event to Chicago,” said Adam Von Ohlen, Chief Creative Officer at Two by Four. “There’s nothing like the excitement of a NASCAR street race, and the work we’ve created together perfectly captures the spirit of both NASCAR and the city of Chicago.” The NASCAR Chicago Street Race, a first race of its kind in NASCAR’s 75-year history, returns to Chicago for a third year on July 5-6, 2025 with a festive atmosphere featuring family-friendly activities and a live performance by Zac Brown Band. “Street Home Chicago” is designed to turn spectators into super-fans and drive ticket sales leading up to race day, welcoming families and sports fans from across the entire country and around the world.
